The Organising Authority is the Lake Taupo Yacht Club Inc.

Notice of Race
1.0 Rules
    1.1 The regatta will be governed by The Racing Rules of Sailing (rules), the prescriptions of Yachting New Zealand (YNZ), class rules and this Notice of Race (except as any of these are changed by the Sailing Instructions) and the Sailing Instructions.

    1.2 The regatta is designated Category B.

    All competitors’ advertising must be declared with entry and must not conflict with the interests of the event sponsor.

4.0 Eligibility and Entry
    4.1 To be eligible to compete in this event a competitor shall be a member of a club or other organisation affiliated to the National Authority.
4.3 The regatta is open to all centreboard classes. Separate results will be given to each class that consists of 5 or more boats. A separate inshore course will be set for beginners.
5.0 Schedule of Events

5.4 Racing Schedule:

    Saturday 10th March

    Race 1 start 1100 hours

    Race 2 & 3 after lunch (back to back)

Sunday 11th March

Race 4 & 5 1000 hours (back to back)

6.0 Sailing Instructions
The Sailing Instructions will be issued to each competitor on completion of registration.
7.0 Racing Area
The races will be held Taupuharere Bay, Lake Taupo
8.0 Courses to be Sailed
Several courses will be set and classes will be allocated to the appropriate course at the briefing.
9.0 Scoring
    9.1 The [Bonus-Points Scoring System] [Low-Points Scoring System], rule A2 of the Racing Rules, will apply.
    9.2 Three races shall be completed to constitute a series.
12.0 Prizes
Prizes will be awarded to the overall place getters in each class (5 or more boats). Spot prizes will be drawn at the prizegiving. Competitors must be present to claim spot prizes.
