North Islands - Results
The 2001 Javelin North Islands were
re-held on Saturday 24-Sunday 25th March at Lake Taupo Yacht
Club. The earlier competition over the weekend Saturday 10th
- Sunday 11th march not being able to be completed.
On Saturday the fleet raced in very light South Wsterly breezes with 3 races being sailed. Sunday racing started in very light winds again, but got more exciting half way through race 5 with an increase in wind strength to 16-18 knots.
