Welcome to a review of accommodation for the Sanders Cup, Nationals and South Pacific Javelin Championships. The contest will reside in the Hurricane Rugby territory.
There is a variety of accommodation and eating houses available in the vicinity of the Heretaunga Boating Club. Below is a small portion of the recommended establishments.

Motels:

Foreshore Motor Lodge - Petone Foreshore, only 100mtrs from the Heretaunga Boating Club. 15 fully serviced units, 10 kilometres to Wellington CBD. Ph ( 04 ) 939-3609, Fax ( 04 ) 938-9706, Freephone 0508-10-10-10. There is no restaurant on site. The prices are competitive for group bookings. Be quick, as 4 rooms have been taken by competitors.

Waterfront Motor Inn - Petone Foreshore, located 500 mtrs from the Heretaunga Boating Club, with 24 studio units, with a licensed restaurant.
The best fish and chip shop in town is located next door. Rooms average at $ 90.00 twin. No website available Ph 0800-500-757 for enquires.

Camping Grounds

Top10 Hutt Park Holiday Park
Located 3 km's from the Heretaunga Boating Club, It has motel units, tourist flats, cabins and powered sites for tents etc.

Billets

Limit number of billets are available. No overnight accommodation is available at the Boating Club.

Food Outlets

McDonalds is located 200 mtrs from the Boating Club, with the main street of Petone only a distant 250 mtrs. Numerous restaurants, bars and a supermarket are located on the main street in Petone.
Other major food outlets are located in Lower Hutt only 5 km's for the foreshore.

Public Transport

Buses and Trains depart/arrive near the Boating Club. They service the Hutt basin, Airport and Wellington CBD.

Vehicle Rentals

Vehicle Rentals vary with a cheapie at $ 29 + insurance per day. More executive vehicles would come out at $ 70 per day. Book early as this is a peak period. Petrol currently pumps out at $ 1.11 per litre.

Airport

The airport is 25 minutes by road off peak to the Boating Club.
A bus will take you directly to the foreshore. Please contact dave or myself to discuss.
