In 2002 - 2003, there will be other nationals being
held here in Perth over the Xmas period. 14ft skiffs, cherubs and various
other classes from other clubs will be hosting their nationals. So accommodation
could become relatively scarce as the time gets closer. SO GET IN EARLY!!!
University accomodation has already started
to be booked 1 year out. There are no caravan
parks (motor camps) near and convenient to the club.

Perth University is basically across the road from the Perth Dinghy Sailing Club (or just a short walk). Accomodation is essentially dormitory style with typically 2 beds per room, although some larger rooms are available (but limited in number). Breakfast is typically included. |
Mounts Street is approx 4 to 4.5 km from the club in Mounts & located within a stone's throw of the CBD and right next to Kings Park. . There are plenty of buses going by all of these to get to the club, and there will no doubt be a few of the West Aussie sailors going by who could give you a lift.
